Few things bring a smile to Captain Kyle’s face quite like guiding kids to their first saltwater fish or to their biggest fish. Whereas some local captains grudgingly allow kids to come aboard, we at Native Sportfishing welcome junior anglers and Captain Kyle can even tailor trips especially to kids regardless of their angling experience.

Captain Kyle grew up in the Tampa Bay area and was fishing before he could ride a bike. Captain Kyle never forgot his roots and knows what it takes to keep junior anglers excited and engaged during a four, six or eight-hour trip. Captain Kyle takes great pride in creating an enjoyable and memorable experience while he cultivates the next generation of saltwater anglers. Our saltwater species need the next generation to be compassionate custodians and Captain Kyle wants to do his part to teach junior anglers how to enjoy and protect Tampa Bay’s precious natural resources.

Captain Kylen also tailors the tackle and approach to junior anglers to ensure that they can get the maximum enjoyment from their angling experience, regardless of the species. Captain Kyle knows that kids just want to catch fish – and lots of them.

Captain Kylen delivers a comfortable and safe experience on board his spacious 25’ C-Hawk center console, the “Native 1”. The Native 1 has the room to keep the family from bumping into each other while enabling Captain Kyle to access the shallow areas “off the beaten path” to put junior anglers on fish that few boats can find. The Native 1 is powered by a Yamaha 250 HP SHO to enable Captain Ben to hit all of the “spots”…and quickly. The Native 1 also features a Minn Kota iPilot trolling motor to sneak up on fish and twin Power Pole blades to keep you in place once you find the fish.
