St Petersburg Tarpon Caught June 2024

Welcome to June, anglers! The fishing action is heating up in Tampa Bay and St. Pete Beach, and we’re thrilled to share the latest updates. Tarpon season is in full swing, and the bite is hot! These migratory giants are being caught at the bridges in Tampa Bay, local passes, and along the beautiful beaches of St. Pete.

We’ve seen impressive catches of big tarpon, providing epic battles for our anglers. The best spots have been the Skyway Bridge, Pass-a-Grille Pass, and the areas around Fort De Soto. Early mornings and late afternoons have been the most productive times, with live crabs and threadfin herring being the top baits.

In addition to tarpon, inshore anglers are enjoying a mixed bag of snook and redfish. These species are actively feeding in the mangroves and grass flats, with live bait and artificial lures both proving effective.

The weather has been ideal, with calm seas and moderate temperatures, making it a perfect time to get out on the water. Don’t miss your chance to experience the excitement – book your charter today and join us for an unforgettable fishing adventure!
