St. Petersburg Fishing Guide
St. Petersburg and Clearwater share the same peninsula, with the Gulf of Mexico on the western shore and Tampa Bay to the east. Being a “Native” of the area, Captain Ben knows the area like no other. Snook, Trout and Redfish can be found all year long. Tarpon can also be found throughout the year but the larger fish take up residency between March and November.
There are also ample opportunities to catch Cobia, Tripletail, many species of Snapper or Grouper as well as a multitude of Shark species.

My 6 year old and I just had the best experience with Captain Kyle! My little guy loves to fish, but i was a little worried because it was a very cold weekend in Tampa/Clearwater. It didn’t matter, Captain Kyle had us on the fish NONSTOP our entire day. My little guy had the time of his life, caught many species including, rays and shark. Saw tons of manatee and dolphin all around. Just an AWESOME time and I look forward to having Captain Kyle put us on the fish as much as possible as my little guy grows up!”

have now been 3 times with my son and some college friends and we have caught lots of snook on every trip including one of the biggest trophy snook I have seen. On two of the three trips, we caught over 30 snook!
Capt. Kyle is a great guy and guide and very patient with kids. We will be back.”
