My son and I, who are used to fishing for Pike and Bass in Ohio and Michigan, came down to Saint Pete’s for Summer Vacation. We knew we wanted to fish for Tarpon and our worries about the season/heat quickly disappeared when Captain Kyle’s knowledge and dedication took over. As a local native with the know how, he found those fish! By the end of the morning we were sore arms and smiles after having landed our “fish of a lifetime.” Captain Kyle’s laid back/friendly demeanor and incredible knowledge of the local waters made the trip that much more enjoyable. I have done three trips with Capt Kyle and have had great success every time. Kyle is extremely experienced and it’s clear he truly knows how to tap in to all types of fishing opportunities.

I’ve done trips with just me targeting snook and redfish plus a very fun trip with my wife and young daughter landing them each their first snook followed by “action fishing” for mackerel and later sharks.

My 6 year old and I just had the best experience with Captain Kyle! My little guy loves to fish, but i was a little worried because it was a very cold weekend in Tampa/Clearwater. It didn’t matter, Captain Kyle had us on the fish NONSTOP our entire day. My little guy had the time of his life, caught many species including, rays and shark. Saw tons of manatee and dolphin all around. Just an AWESOME time and I look forward to having Captain Kyle put us on the fish as much as possible as my little guy grows up!”

Fishing with Capt Kyle was awesome today, wish we would have had more time. Caught a bunch of Spanish Mackerel, and some nice big Reds. Had a nice snook snap the line as well, but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. I would highly recommend fishing with Capt Kyle on your next trip. He will definitely put you on some fish. Can’t wait till we come back again for our next trip.

Captain Kyle and Joe were amazing! Our son caught his first tarpon with them today and it was the best day of his vacation! They were so patient and awesome at explaining
what exactly to do when the fish were on! Would 100% recommend and will be back again!

Captain Kyle will give YOU the experience you want.. for the first timers he will bait and cast for you and all you have to do is reel those babies in to the boat and smile with them squiggling in front of you… to the pros who are looking for some sport/trophy photos… this is the charter captain for you! His equipment & boat are top notch.. really comfortable and zippy. Snook, red fish.. and even a 60 pound ray … In fact my husband had to go out and buy the rig that he supplied to us on the boat we liked it so much. The captain has lived his life on the bays and coves of St. Pete.. he will sniff the fish out for you. It’s always an exciting day on the water with Kyle. Two years in a row we have booked with him and we can’t wait to do it again… Hey tell him Mo says Hi… maybe he’ll give us a deal next year;)”
